Discovering AI: A Journey Sparked by Curiosity
When I first dove into the world of AI, I was completely new to it all—just a curious listener lying in bed, tuning into late-night podcasts about the future of tech. I’d heard about this thing called “GPT,” a kind of AI that seemed everywhere, sparking conversations, shaping ideas, and helping people write and create.
I jumped out of bed the following day, eager to learn more. I sat at my computer, typing “GPT” into the search bar… or so I thought. But, in my early-morning enthusiasm, I mistyped it. GPDT. And there it was on the screen, staring back at me—“Chatgpdt.” A simple mistake that somehow felt right.
I decided to keep it. “Chatgpdt” became my accidental mascot—a reminder that mistakes can lead us to unexpected places, just like my journey with AI. Now, Chatgpdt represents that curiosity and excitement I felt when I first discovered this technology, transforming my misstep into a name that invites others to explore, create, and embrace the learning process—one small error at a time.
Embracing AI: From Novice to Advocate
I wasn’t trained as an AI engineer. I didn’t have a tech background or a list of programming courses. As a regular white collar, I am curious and open to learning new things, driven by a fascination with technology and how it could make life easier and more efficient. So, I began teaching myself, diving into online articles, watching tutorials, and taking notes whenever possible. I faced plenty of challenges—technical terms that felt like another language, concepts that took days to click, and moments of frustration when things didn’t make sense.
But slowly, piece by piece, I started to understand how AI could become a practical part of my everyday life. I discovered ways to use it that fit my needs and goals and gradually improved my productivity. Tasks that used to take hours suddenly took minutes. Brainstorming sessions that left me feeling stuck now felt energized, as I had AI to spark fresh ideas and provide inspiration at a moment’s notice.
Seeing its impact on my work and creativity, I decided others might also benefit from what I’d learned. So, I started documenting my journey—the successes, stumbles, and breakthroughs. I wanted to share my experience in a way that felt real and relatable, something others without a technical background could see themselves in.
That’s how Chatgpdt evolved, not just as a name but as a resource—a way to share everything I’d learned and keep learning alongside others. My goal was simple: to demystify AI, show its practical side, and prove that anyone with curiosity and persistence could make it a part of their own journey, too.
